AXPONA 2016 EXPERIENCES RECORD ATTENDANCE AND RAVE REVIEWS FROM EXHIBITORSNearly 6,000 Attendees and 400 Exhibitors at 7th Annual AXPONA

ROSEMONT, IL (April 21, 2016) - - AXPONA (Audio Expo North America) welcomed 5,934 attendees and 400 exhibitors to the Westin O’Hare in Rosemont, IL, April 15-17, 2016, offering music lovers, audiophiles, and musicians three jam-packed days of incredible sounds, technology, seminars, live music and the very latest products in the industry. Attendance was up 16% over 2015 with 137 students at the show as part of the new Student Day Program. 

In addition to a series of special events, live concerts and educational seminars, attendees had the opportunity to experience the very best in sound in 111 listening rooms by top manufacturers in the industry. In all, more than 400 leading manufacturers, retailers and brands gathered at AXPONA, including Paragon Sight & Sound, Legacy Audio, Sennheiser Electronic Corporation, Music Direct, Acoustic Sounds Inc., and Nordost.

 New this year, AXPONA unveiled The Manufacturers Showcase, which featured a museum-like display of the newest products and innovations from 18 manufacturers, including Channel D, Convergent Audio Technology, ELAC, Emotiva, Legacy Audio, Luxman, Snake River Audio, Sonist Audio and Van Den Hul. Exhibitors and attendees raved about the new exhibit.

The Marketplace and Ear Gear Expo were once again buzzing with a vast array of turntables, vinyl, SACDS, musical instruments, cables, accessories, racks and stands, turntables, tonearms, and the latest headphones and associated equipment in the growing world of mobile and high end personal listening.
