Steven R. Rochlin

Creative Director, Enjoy the

Steven R. Rochlin, Editor and Creative Director of Enjoy the, became a music lover at the age of five when his father brought him to a live performance of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 with live blasting caps substituting for cannons. Steven began his classical training of drums and percussions at nine; later learning music theory, recording studio experience, etc. His first "day job" was with Heathkit Electronics where he built kits and operated their BBS system. Later jobs include computer hardware, programming languages, Internet Website customization and apps. Audio played a key role with leading role employment at portable, mid-fi, high-end and car audio retail.

During the 1996 WCES, Steven was a panel member of the very first CES workshop dealing with Internet issues. Other accomplishments include being a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (a.k.a. The Recording Academy who is known for their GRAMMY awards), having a Masters Degree from the Academy Advancing High Performance Audio & Video (AAHPAV), a Member of the Consumer Electronics Association Citizen Action Network (CEA CAN), and an International Auto Sound Challenge Association (IASCA) sound quality judge. As an independent photojournalist, Steven’s photographs and writings have appeared in many publications worldwide while also being a supporter of the Music Cares Foundation who assists musicians in need of help due to chemical addictions, financial or medical needs.

Today, Steven guides Enjoy the with the industry’s only high-technology mobile live streaming video studio that broadcasts many high-end audio consumer electronic events and live music too! This year, 2015, marks the sites 20th anniversary and will showcase further expansion to the over 6000 web pages online today. Steven is especially proud to be a Creative Director of the Industry’s only publication to enjoy partnership with eight highly respected print magazines from around the world and five annual North American high-end audio events.
