Jason Victor Serinus is a music and audio critic for Stereophile, Seattle Times, San Francisco Classical Voice, Opera Now, American Record Guide, Listen, San Francisco Examiner, Classical Voice North America, Bay Area Reporter, and many other publications. As a professional whistler, he was “The Voice of Woodstock” whistling Puccini in an Emmy-nominated Peanuts cartoon, and recently performed in Seattle’s Moisture Festival. Based in Port Townsend, WA, he currently teaches “Opera and Art Song: Voices to Die For” at Peninsula College.
