Schaumburg, IL (February 28, 2020) - - AXPONA (Audio Expo North America) returns April 17-19 with its largest show to date. Audiophiles, music lovers, musicians and collectors will unite at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center to experience 500 exhibitors,200+ interactive listening rooms, a new Ear Gear Experience, Live Concerts, Seminars and much more, Add these 10 “must-do’s” to your agenda to experience the best of AXPONA 2020:

1.Ear Gear Experience
AXPONA is pleased to announce the launch of a brand-new Ear Gear Experience, which will be the largest area in the country dedicated entirely to personal audio. There are more explorations into the art of audio than ever before, and the headphone is no exception. From dedicated home listening systems to the best possible sound you can squeeze out from a smart phone, the growth for personal audio knows no limits. The new expo area will feature an Ear Gear Theater, Industry Talks, two Networking Lounges, a Café and the latest and greatest in personal audio.


2. Live Evening Concerts
When the show closes, the party keeps going with live music nightly. This year Chicago Bluesman Toronzo Cannon, sponsored by WDCB and JTR Speakers, will headline on Friday April 17 from 8-9:30 p.m. Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, Rickie Lee Jones, sponsored by Acoustic Sounds and JTR Speakers, will continue the party on Saturday, April 18 from 8-9:30 p.m. Visit to learn more about the concerts and performers.

3. The Audiophile Den, Furnishings provided by Ethan Allen

AXPONA attendees will have the opportunity to sit and relax throughout the show in a beautifully designed vignette envisioned by Chicago interior designer, Carly Moeller from Unpatterned featuring furnishings by Ethan Allen and high end audio gear from AXPONA exhibitors. The Audiophile Den will be located on the Expo Hall and offer endless design inspiration for designing your own Listening Room. Stop by The Audiophile Den on Saturday, April 18 at 4pm for a panel on “Designing a Listening Room to reflect your personality and style”.


4. Shop Till you Drop
The expanded Expo Hall, which is home to the Marketplace and Record Fair, is a whopping 30,000 square feet and will showcase a vast array of Turntables, Cables, Accessories, Racks and Stands, Tonearms, Cartridges, Vinyl and desktop Speakers in the growing world of mobile and high-end personal listening.

5. Industry Expert Talks and Seminars
Get front row seats to interesting seminars all weekend, with topics ranging from the vinyl revival, Michael Fremer's Internationally Renowned Turntable Set-up Seminar a look at Hi-Fi’s Past, Present & Future and The Evolution of HiFi featuring  industry leaders like Joe (Joe N Tell) Mariano, Daily HiFi, Jill Escol, Klipsch, June Ip, Lenbrook, Paul Wilkie, Sound United and Nick Brown, SVS Sound.

8. Master Class Theater Presented by Lendbrook
This world class theater on the Expo floor will feature curated content presented by industry leaders from High Fidelity Cables and AudioQuest.

9. New Exhibitors
AXPONA is known for featuring world-renowned companies and manufacturers, showcasing the most innovative products and services in the high-end audio industry. It is the place where manufacturers and dealers unveil their latest offerings, and this year AXPONA will welcome over 30 NEW exhibitors from around the globe including: Yamaha, Klipsch, Bowers & Wilkins and J-Corder.

10. Shop the Record Fair
The Exhibit Hall, which is home to the Record Fair, will showcase a vast array of turntables, cables, accessories, racks and stands, tonearms, cartridges and new and vintage Vinyl. Top manufacturers exhibiting this year will include Pro-Ject, SOTA, MAG-LEV Audio and Audio-Technica.

AXPONA opens Friday, April 17 10am-6pm; Saturday, April 18, 10am-6pm; and Sunday, April 19 10am-4pm.



AXPONA (Audio Expo North America) is North America’s largest event for audiophiles, manufacturers of high-end audio equipment, musicians and music lovers.
